Great staff, we are regulars here and are always greated with a smile. Perfect place for a post workout meal.

This was my first time not only trying this place, but Mediterranean food in general. I was highly impressed in the quality and being made to order. My order was made in a fashionably time and I was greeted with a smile and thank you from the lady working at the counter. The prices aren’t bad and I will definitely be back for another meal. Would recommend!

Good food. Great staff.

Normally pretty good and fast but this last time I went too an eternity to get my food. Like talking 45mins plus. They are only on par with Greek house so in the future I'mJust going back there.

We LOVE Gyro Hero!! The food is authentic, amazing tasting, they have a variety of options, great tasting sauces, super friendly people, and it's always quick. We have been going here since it opened and it never disappoints. We love the Gyro sandwich (get it hero style) and for an appetizer gyro wontons or Spanakopita wontons (favorite). We love this place and will continue going!!

This place has both flavor and value. The Gyro is really big and filling. Quality and taste is spot on. I usually go for lunch but they have specials after 2pm are an even better value. I keep coming back for more. Gyro is served with a pickle and a pink pickled radish. Fries are extra but are very good and they come with special sauce that is delicious.

Their choose 4 combo doesn’t include a protein nor a drink. The meat has a price by it on the options. But I thought it was if you order a double meat instead of one of the sides. And when I asked them about it they got an attitude and said If I didn’t like their prices to not come back. But the price wasn’t the problem their menu was just misleading

Decent greek food at the price you'd expect to pay. The fries are better than average too.

I went there for lunch with my Mother because we wanted something different. It was DELICIOUS!!! The guy that made our food was very nice and gave us VERY generous portions, so we got more than our money’s worth in my opinion. I will definitely be coming back here again. You should try it! You won’t be disappointed!

Gyro Hero, is has very good food, service and reasonably priced.

I was getting tacos next door at senor dr los tacos, and came to gyro here because I Love their pecan and peanut brittle .

Food was very good! Lots of great sauces and options 😁 The customer service was excellent as well. They ran out of lettuce right after we ordered and the staff went above and beyond to help compensate for the side salads! They were so sweet and kept checking to make sure everything was perfect! Thanks guys! We'll be back!

I ordered the gyro plate. My wife ordered the falafel and we split an order of stuffed grape leaves. The stuffed grape leaves were the best I've ever had. My wife enjoyed her food as well. My gyro plate was also very good. The gyro itself was huge and the meat cooked just right. After we ordered and played I remembered that I wanted some feta cheese. He didn't even charge me for the feta. I know it was only 85 cents but it was a nice touch for him to include it for free. The order was served very quickly and the fries were hot and good. Thurs is not a fancy place but I gave it 5 stars for y the quality of the food and the service. We will be back.

This place is off the chart for comfort level Greek Food. I drive 30 miles to get their gyros and fries. Reasonably priced and fast service! Oopaa!

They accept debit/credit cards. The Greek House is cash only, I have to make a special trip just to have cash to pay for my sandwiches. Gyro Hero accepts debit and credit cards. Fast and friendly service. Prices are about the same. Food looks great. Can't wait to get it home and eat...😁

When our food was brought out I noticed there was a small black hair on my pickle so I didn’t eat it, then about 3/4 way through my chicken pita sandwich I noticed a piece of meat had a small black hair on it too so I pulled it out of the sandwich and didn’t eat that piece. Then I opened my sandwich up and found a third hair. I definitely think the workers should be wearing a hair net or find a way to contain their hairs. I probably wouldn’t recommend this place because of the hairs in my food which is a bummer because what I did eat of the sandwich was really good.

Like this place but when they basically refuse service to fulfill an online order was very disappointing. Just went to the Greek House.

One of my favorites! Food is amazing with lots of different things to try. I am docking one star because of the inconsistency in their french fries. Sometimes they are amazing and fluffy and crispy, and sometimes they are wilted and greasy and burnt. Seems to depend on who is in the kitchen.

Normally really great but not today. Gyro was cold and my fries where not cooked fully.

I don't often leave one star reviews as you can see from my local guide review history but this whole experience was a disaster. The tablet for order up app died and the orders were backed up. The employee was nice 2 young kids and a crazy woman with pink hair who was all over the road. We had 3 people in our party who all ordered the same thing yet one order came out in 10 minutes and the other 2 never came. 30 minutes later we asked about the rest of the order and they ran out meat, they were slicing lamb and trying to grill it to make our order on the fly! We just asked for a refund and 45 minutes later we left hungry still, and we were not the only customers to leave due to the wait and other issues. Sad for the customers and owner who is missing out on business, I personally won't be back for a second try...

This is one of the best bang for your buck Mediterranean restaurants in Norman. I love the five dollarhero specials. The lobby decor is ok. It also gets pretty hot in there during the summer. Definitely more of a grab and go place.

Always a delicious experience! They supply a few different sauces with a meal which I greatly appreciate.

Very very good food. Family-like staff. It is a little pricy, but personally worth it to me. Can't go wrong with a classic gyro and fries. And the sauce that comes with it is outstanding.

Great food, the gyro was perfect with feta added and the hummis and pita was amazing. They could use a soda fountain though

The food is great, but oh my goodness it was 84 degrees in there yesterday evening when we went for dinner (I glanced at the thermostat). Will definitely be getting carryout for now on.

Many people will say that The Greek House is the best place to get gyros in Norman, and while I would never besmirch the good name of that delicious local institution, I have to throw my full support behind Gyro Hero.Not only do they have fantastic gyros, but unlike The Greek House they have more. The falafel is fantastic, and their desserts are delicious. They also have really awesome deals everyday on cheap gyros and other meals.You really can’t beat this place for good Greek food!

Food is so good. Best fries in town imo and the baklava is worth the trip alone. The restaurant is pretty open with an open kitchen as well. The guys at the counter were friendly and made sure we had what we needed.

I eat here like one a week. So quick, friendly, and delicious. The gyro is delicious, the fries are always fresh and crisp, and the harissa aioli is amazing.

I got here often everything here is amazing I get the med salads with gyro meat and the spinach wontons you can't go wrong here the harissa aioli is ridiculous on it's own! If you haven't been you're missing out!!

Tasty food! Closest you'll get to the classic European kebab shop expirencence. It is kinda expensive though and you have to buy your drink separately.

This place is simply the best, The food is delicious, the staff is always pleasant, and the store is always clean. Forget Greek House. These guys are legit.

Best service And food quality

We finally decided to give this restaurant a try. We loved every bite of what we ordered. The meat (plenty of it) was tender and seasoned to satisfaction, the bread was soft, and the fries were fresh . The gyro wontons that were fried were a beautiful golden brown and were delicious, too.
